Mana Meditation

Much like the aura’s, mana meditation requires a short period of concentration to cast (two posts). A mage must meditate on their bodies, and focus on what is currently causing them pain or discomfort; essentially, one must focus their undivided attention inward on whatever specific part of the body is in pain, and slowly weave their mana into that particular place. This will increase a mages natural pain tolerance slightly, and can calm nasty effects such as natural (non magical) shock.

This spell was created and taught to the students of Ulreich by [Being] and is for mages of Paige ranking or above.

The Gel Sphere is a good first step for any mage wishing to practice the technique of imbuing one's mana with specialized intent. In a similar method to a mana spark, a projectile of energy -- in the shape of an orb -- is created via the weaving of mana. However, instead of immediately launching the spell, the mage must begin to weave an additional layer of their energies into the completed object. The easiest mental reference is for one to compare their weaving as spinning a web over the created ball; this allows the mana to fill with your intent, causing it to take on an adhesive property. Upon completion, it can be thrown up to twenty feet away, and will stick harshly against whatever surface it may come into contact with. Upon mastery of the spell, the constructs toughness should be that of about aluminum. A smart mage can utilize this ability for a number of interesting combative scenarios, but mages may also upgrade this projectile into something of their own as they gain experience.
