Mana Rehabilitation
A more advanced version of Mana Meditation, Mana Rehabilitation also takes a short period to prepare and cast over oneself (two post rotations) and mages must once again focus on the areas of the body that cause them harm. Upon developing and growing one’s pool of mana, a mage can release higher quantities of energy into the spell to increase its effects; this version allows for an even greater pain tolerance (x1.5) than before, as well as the ability to dispel natural and weaker forms of magical shock (of up to mage rank). More effective spell based shocks will be lessened, but not completely removed, as this is still only an intermediate technique.
This spell was created and taught to the students of Ulreich by X [Being] and is for mages of Mage ranking or above.
To create a mana graft, one must simply apply the technique of giving adhesive intent to one’s mana (as is done with gel sphere) to the simple aspect of bodily weaving. Instead of creating a projectile, one instead generates the sticky web-like intent into their mana while it is currently weaving in a part of their body. This allows the mage to stick themselves onto any physical surface they may come into physical contact with, the bond strong enough to easily hold the weight of most average mages, and withstand a moderate amount of force. Heavy force can rip this bond easily, however, as can hostile mana that may happen to reach the area weaving the graft together, so one must take caution when using this spell in dangerous situations.
